Lancashire has one of the most vibrant and diverse social enterprise sectors in the country featuring a rich mix of well-established social firms and newly-created companies. They all offer a professional servce and ultimately work for the social good.

Selnet, the Social Enterprise Lancashire Network, is the recognised voice of the county's social enterprise sector and delivers major support programmes funded by the Northwest Regional Development Agency, European Regional Development Fund, European Social Fund and Capacitybuilders, among many more.
Selnet's Core Objectives:-

• Raise profile of Social enterprise in the community and promote them as a business option.
• Represent the interests of SE sector in general and members in particular.
• Provide and facilitate mutual support amongst Social Enterprises.
• Provide business development and support to start-up and established Social Enterprise.
